Title: How to Launch Mach3Turn?
Post by: DaveDoesIT on June 22, 2008, 02:02:12 PM
Hi people,

Newbie to Mach3.

I installed it some months back and have not had time to mess with it. I have an Emco 5 PC lathe and am currently doing the hardware mod from the Summer 2007, Digital Machinist.

I am using w2000 and I do not have a desktop icon for launching Mach3Turn as instructed in the PDF manual. I have looked in the Mach3 folders and cannot find anything on how to launch Turn.

Some help here would be appreciated.

Dave

Dave,

There should be an icon in your Mach3 folder that just says Mach3 with a picture of a mill on it. You should be able to click that and that will bring up a drop down menu with Mach3 Turn option in it.

Should also be available from the Start menu in Windows. If it is in the start menu you can right click and send to desktop if you wish.

Arrggghgh. <slapping head!!> <grin> Thanks Bud. I saw that and thought it would just launch Mach3 mill which I knew wasn't the turn version.
