Title: quick plasma question
Post by: atanq on May 23, 2008, 03:39:33 PM
Hi,

I have mach3 on xp, which method is best to drive an external relay to switch the plasma on/off?  Is it in ports & pins> output signals> digial trig?

Thanks,

aaron.

Probably best to use the spindle relay output, that way you can start with M3 and stop with M5

Thanks for the reply, Hood,

I'll give that a try - it seems to work quite happily in the MDI.  Will I be able to select this option for instance when importing a file from LazyCAM into Mach3?

Thanks,

Aaron.

Dont use LazyCAM but I am sure it will call M3 for spindle Start and M5 for stop when you generate the code.
