Title: Unable to JOG BACK on Mach3 after limit-switch-tripping
Post by: CNC4fun on May 05, 2008, 08:56:51 PM
This is a Question for a moderator (programmers of MACH)
I found this question on the Spanish forum.  I thought it was a good technical question and maybe one that deserves the programmers looking into for modification:

Translated from Spanish:
------------------------

With mach2 if I had a runoff and activated the Reset, (limit switch) then what I would do is to deactivate, with the mouse, the button of reset and with the cursors, jogged back to operating space.

Now with mach3 I cannot do that, if I trip the limit switch, it does not let me deactivate it with the mouse, reason why must turn off the milling machine and turn by hand the small spindle.
Does anyone know How the RESET status can be deactivated?? (to anable jogging back)

a greeting and thousand thanks --cchhaa

Better still - I f you have the "Auto Limit Override" selected, this will allow you to reset the Limit Switch and back off the switch automatically. It then resets it to the limit again.
