Title: incremental feed
Post by: ayhan on April 15, 2008, 04:21:27 AM
Hello everyone,

Is there any way to increase the feed in the same line ?
For example: it will start F100 at the end of the distance will be reached F200

Thank you
Ayhan

You do not say what you are trying to do.

If you are on a lathe and taking a facing cut across the work then you are talking of CSS Constant Surface Speed. This is available on Mach3 if you have the necessary control of your motor spindle.

Other than that I cannot begin to understand why you want to increase the feed rate - i.e. the speed the tool moves - as you progress along a cut.

Sorry I forgot to say ,

I need axis increment feed, not spindle.
For example X at ziro
G01 F100 x20
X starts as F100 and finish as F100 no problem.
But What I need is X should start as F50 and increase to F100 (In 20mm)

Thank you
