Title: limit on g code of 49 lines?
Post by: lowslo on April 09, 2008, 10:35:00 PM
Hey all. I'm in the process of finishing my first router and I have been playing around with Mach 3 and Lazy Cam. So far after trying many options that are available I think that Mach 3 is by far the easiest to use. At least for a newbie like me.

I tried to search for the answer to my question but couldn't find it. I can only post 49 lines of code in Mach 3. Is that normal before licensing or am I doing something wrong? I was under the impression that there was a 500 line limit. Kind of hard to evaluate it with only 49 lines available :)

I tried several of my drawings but all only result in 49 lines of code (full drawing in Lazy Cam though).

Thanks so much for your help.

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

Without either a Mach or a LazyCam license, LazyCam will only generate 50 lines of Gcode... With a LazyCam license (but without a Mach license), you would be restricted to the normal 500 lines...  ;)

Thanks,

scott

Thanks scottn. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't something else wrong. License it is then. 8)
