Title: MachIV motor reversal ?
Post by: Mstcnc on May 05, 2006, 04:28:59 AM
Hi,

I need to have Z axis direction reversed, DRO´s and jogging are ok but machine movement is wrong direction.
In Mach3 you could just set dir pin active low to change direction but it does not change direction in MachIV? am I missing something, are pin settings not effective in MachIV?

Thank you,

Regards Mika

Under homing and limits check the reverse check box for that axis...

Thank you,

That worked, now I must try loan a camera somewhere ( did broke my own ).
Must make video, I just tested my VMC shizuoka: 3mm thick cut in 50mm width in steel with feedrate of 300mm/min.

Regards Mika

Very nice I had a Shizuoka! That was a nice heavy mill with 5HP on the spindle, and running off Mach3 :)
