Title: Gcode fore changing pulley ratio or pulley #
Post by: milehigh51 on February 18, 2008, 04:58:21 PM
Hi all:

Can some one help me out here?  with gcode fore changing pulley ratio or pulley # .   I see in turn the tool table has an entry for turret...  but what is it for.  Also in turm their is a DRO for loop.  I run most of my programs as a sub programso the LXX is how many parts in the bar.  if it kept track of how many loops I would know how long till it
runs out of stock.

Thanks  Roy

Not sure exactly what you are wanting regarding the pulley ratio/number.
I am presuming you are meaning Turret Angle, I think this will simply be so that you can define the angle of the rotation to get to that tool.

Hi hood

The pulley selection in config/spindle pulleys    Their must be a way to select the choice you need in a macro or gcode.
for forgetful machinist!!  tell me more bought the turret angle. I Always wandered what that was for.

thanks

You can change the pulley select with a macro or Mcode in your program. You will have to create the macro and place it in the correct macro directory. You will have to have a macro for each pulley selection that you want to use.
