Title: MachMill DRO's
Post by: mikemill on February 03, 2008, 09:32:06 AM
When I finish a milling session I home the tool so DRO's read zero and turn of machine and computer. On starting up DRO's read a plus value i.e 1.362, and of course if you forget to zero your DRO's all hell beaks out.

Is this how mach functions, or am I not doing something?  How can I get Mach to open with zero DRO's?

Apart from the above Mach is a great control programme, I wish my memory was as good!

Thanks

Mike

Mike, goto Config>General and click "Persistant DROs", then what ever state the dros are in when you close Mach "normally", it reload those values on start up. Further, check and make sure in the Homing/limits section under config, that you did NOT put in a Homing Offset value, Further make sure you dont have some odd G52 or something running that you forgot about.
