If you have already put Mach Brains to use, we would love to hear all about what you have done.
If you can make a video and talk us through the whole thing, I am sure it will inspire us all.

Thanks Scott, good job. Would you post the Brain/s used in the video, the macro pump, and TCP mapping chart? That is a really nice example.

The original AVI, that I converted had great resolution and showed some of the Brains, in more detail as well as the documentation. Unfortunatly, when I was done it was a 37 GIGABITE file, that when sent through WMM reduced to 23 GIGS!!
So, I had to redo the vid I had to drop the files, reduce the screen resolution and size just to get what I got put up now.
What I put up is Really CRAPPY as far as screen resolution is concerned, but to make it bigger or better Res, would exceed You-Tubes band width upload limit.
We really need our Own Server to upload Tutorial type files up to. Tutorials by thier nature are just going to be Larger files since you have to cover alot of ground in a short time.
I would be Glad to make lots of tutorial vidios, about Brains and other subjects, if there was a relistic upload solution. I know the current official "mach tutorial vidio" section is limited on space, and bandwidth issues for viewers. So perhaps if there is a member who has a Web hosting service that they would be willing to donate, and mabey be reinbursed for thier out put as the following options:
1). You pay 1-2 dollars through paypal to download, or view the tutorial file (I will check into my companies web hosting service to see how much bandwidth my contract currently allows).
2). A small percentage of Mach Sales goto supporting this web hosting site.
3). You can buy a Tutorial "Support" Contract from Brain, in where you pay 20 bucks a year through paypal and have access to download or view the tutorials during your year.
4). Some super nice guy, offers free webhosting because they are just generous people..............
5). (Your solution here)

You bring up some good points Scott. It would be nice if we had a place for users to post videos in higher res. I will try to do a little research on this. I think you are missing the point here though. These are for users to share, free of charge to help fellow users. Mach has the tutorials, that are deemed worthy by them, in their tutors section eating up their bandwidth already. If anyone has a video they think is worthy of posting there they can contact myself or some other Admins. to review and decide. I guess ultimately Brian would have the final say. Youtube will be good for most I think and we don't run the risk of offending anyone. If no one watches it, no harm and no precious server space eaten up. I think paid support is something we definitely need to research for those that don't know how Mach works and don't care. All they want is a machine running. They don't have the time to contribute and should have an option to pay for a higher level of support IMO. I think we also need to look into phone support for the smaller guys as well. Maybe a per call price for those who get stumped and need a little help but can't afford the Platinum level of support or time to research. It would be their option. If it was a big enough problem to pay to get it fixed quick they could at their will without breaking the bank. If not, they could fish around on the forums and try to fix it themselves. I think most with enough time and patience can fix anything themselves. Now, on to my solution.
Post the macro/s, brain/s and chart for others to study if you have time. You don't owe it to anyone. The video you already posted is nice and a great contribution. Thanks for sharing it with us. I think it would be much nicer if it had the others to go with it. That won't eat up band width. Those who truly want to learn will have a nice example to learn by. Those who don't want to take the time to learn could perhaps contact you for paid support?

My reply wasnt for me to get paid support funds,
it was to paysome to help them defer the cost of a web service to host the videos.
lets say I had a Webservice with enough band width to do it, and it cost me 100 dollars per month for it, the cost of 1 or 2 dollars for those that want to view or download the vidios would help derfer that cost.
Perhaps there is someone on this site that works at a University that teaches machine tool stuff that would host it for free, OR, perhaps Hillery Clinton really doesnt work for her Manchurian masters........hehehe.
I have a web hosting service that I use for the Mach Convention South East. Perhaps I can call that company and see what it would cost to upgrade to a larger Bandwidth limit, and simultanous connection limit........ The website address is easy enough www.machcnc.com I had only bought the service for the convention, but after the convention, I will still have the remainder of the year that I could put something else on it, like the vids.......
I am not trying to make a killin on nobody, but I dont want to fork out the money to pay for a service that I dont derive any benefit from. If I could break even on it, it would be acceptable as well.
Just a thought, and there are many here I am sure who would have better solutions perhaps.

I have done some tests using this guys options and the results are great.

I tried his methods and it was even worse It would crash with the "Red Screen of Death"
during playback of the vidio. That ScreenCam may well work for small stuff, but my original
stuff when I processed it wanted to make 4 linked files, each one maxed out.
Not complaining, but it just doesnt work for a detailed how to tutorial.
I had wanted to show the screens, Brains, Macropump, and other docs
But you just cant show a Brain view with Mach screen on that small.
