Title: motor settings and xyz limits cnc9000
Post by: cpcbman on January 14, 2008, 08:37:59 AM
anyone familiar with the CNC9000 from Circuit Specialist Inc, if so any suggestions on motor tuning?
Is there a way to set X,Y,Z limits using machine coordinates if I do not have limit switches installed?

Very new user

If you do not have limits you can still set soft limits by jogging your table to an axis extreme and pressing the Ref button for that axis (you want Auto Zero checked ) Then when you set up your softlimits you set the min for axis zero and the max for the axis travel.

BTW make sure you jog to that position and ref every time you Open Mach as this is the only way Mach knows where your table is.
