Title: tangential movement
Post by: sigmadane on April 23, 2006, 12:04:31 PM
   Hi there

I was wondering if you could help me with a problem i have with a project.
I want the tool axis(A axis) to move in a tangential route in relation to the x-y plane movement vector.
I think this is programmed in the designed section(ex Autocad???).Or not?Is there any specail G-code for this function?

  I would appreciate any assistance.

    Thanks.

    Steve

Hello Steve there is a setting under "settings" page where you can turn on tangential control. This will turn the A axis as the machine moves around the file...

Steve,

Did you ever get this to work?
