Post by: learman on December 06, 2007, 03:52:56 PM
This will be the third system using Mach3  :D,, This go around I decide to spend a littel $ and put in a touch screen,, it is a 12 inch Elo entvitive, works well I have all my drivers installed but Mach3 mill screen will not fit,, I try ed changing the resolution but the monitor will not except anything but 800X600 resolution.. One odd thing is that Mach3 plasma fits fine it is shrunk down, but mach3 mill screen wont.. Also I try ed downloading other screens, with machblue I was at least able to hit my reset button.

thanks for all

Hi, Josh

Have you tried the screen settings, Config, General Config, " Screen Control " Options. ?

You need to re-load your screen set after changing the Screen Control options, Under, View, "Load Screens".

If thy don't help, You'll need to use Screen 4 Editor to re-size your screen set.

Hears a 1024.set saved as 1024 800x600.set give it a try.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Hi, Josh

Started to explain then decided to post the screen.set.

It's under Downloads, Mach Releases Above, Download "Screen 4".

You can make a copy of your screen.set and try it out, modifying/change your screens.

Thanks, Chip

G'day Josh

Resizing the Mach 1024 screen will work as far as seeing the whole screen at 800 x 600 but it is next to useless on a touch screen.

Buttons are so small that "touching" them will just be an exercise in frustration.  You will give up and only use the mouse and keyboard.

I found the only real option is to make a new screen from scratch.  It needs large buttons and I prefer bright colours.

I'll post the front page of my screen just to give you an idea of what I mean.

Greg
