Title: mach2 and G76

is there a way to use G76 to make threads with mach 2 i wish to make 5/8 11 threads and i program my part by hand thank you for your time Marcel Beaudry

load up Mach3 and use the simple threading wizard... This should get you cutting nice threads in no time!

dear sir
i got mach2 registered and it works very well with my lathe i am not sure how to transfer to mach3 . the lathe was sold to me with the software .i bought the license from art and i am not sure how to transfer all the info and have a lathe that still work

PLease post the XML file that you are running and I will make it so you can run Mach3 ... You can have Mach3 and Mach2 on the same system

Dear Sir
thank you very much for spending your time for me . i installed mach 3 and put the xml file you sent me when i ran the jog mode in z mode - the lathe went in x -  and when i tied z+ it went in x+ and the spindle did not turn.for the x axes they did not work.  when i tried the ball program included in mach 3 the spindle did not turn and the z axes where reversed and the x axes where ok . and thank you again for your time

So I cn fix the spindle but what you are telling me is that the Jog is not working for the Z axis... That is odd... I think you need to change the axis jog keys and you will be all set :) Now for the Z axis being the wrong way I can fix that! Spindle should be working and I will have a look at that too

dear sir

i can see the light at the end of the tunnel both the axes work as they should in manual and in program mode the only thing missing is the spindle turning even when i input a speed by hand the spindle does not turn thank you for your time

Dear Sir

i d'ont know if it has a bearing on my spindle not turning but when i go to diagnostic i have (output 2 flashing)

Here is one more test... after that I would need to see your machine :( but if you are willing to try a few more XML's i think we can get it.

i am willing to try anyting to make the lathe work . the last file worked on both axes but the spindle still will not turn and when i go to diagnostic now it is output 3 that flashes red
