Title: How can I enter a 7 digit integer number into a DRO
Post by: Yorkshire Pudding on March 22, 2023, 05:33:38 PM
Hi all,

I am making a custom screen for my brother and he needs to be able to enter a 7 digit integer number into a DRO.

I have tried and the most I can enter is 123456

I can enter 0.1234567 but then the operator has to remember to do this or scrap the part.

Has anybody any ideas?

Thanks

i you use machscreen:

you can enter the format you want to use for a dro input field.

I use Machscreen too and while creating the DRO you can indeed enter 7 leading digits and zero trailing digits but once you load the screen into Mach3 you can only enter 6 digits.

i think we have to wait for Klaus to show up, he is the screen specialist.

Hi

I'm sorry, I can't help in this case. Mach3 limits integer numbers to 6 digits. I wouldn't know a solution for that issue. I will check that in next version of MachScreen.
