I instal Simulator moduleWorks and enabled the simulator plugin and uploaded the license, but I don't see the "SIMULATOR" tab, how to set it.
-
Hi,
not exactly sure what you mean. Mach4 does have a Simulation Device but you don't need a license, and you don't need to download it, its part of every
Mach4 build....its already there.

I have 3D simulator, and i can see how part luk like after mill. I insert these like new tab, its work.

Hi,
kool, tell us how it works.
I have a fourth axis but the toolpath display is fine for tree axis but crap for four. I'm building a fifth axis and it sure would be nice to see a
3D render of the toolpath.

This plugin allows a user to run a 3 Axis cnc Mill or Router. I take screen how it work for mee, by fiew days.

Craig:
The ModuleWorks simulator is available for purchase on the Machsupport.com web site.
It supports 3 axis milling and would not help with 4 or 5 axis systems.
It installs as a separate Mach4 profile as if it was another machine.

I take these to mill profile like a tag.

Craig:
ModuleWorks.com does offer 4 and 5 axis simulators for other partners. They have done simulators for dozens of companies and you may have seen their software being used by dental labs that make prosthetics. Perhaps you could investigate the possibility but it will likely be much more expensive.

See attachment. The operating material is now displayed in the simulator field. But why no tool? When I disconnect the ethernet, the tool is visible, but I can't turn on machining. When ethernet is connected there is no tool. What to do? I can't simulate without the tool >:D

Hi Steve,
thanks for the clarification.
Perhaps you could investigate the possibility but it will likely be much more expensive.
Crikey.....I'm still reeling from the thousands spent on the hardware for my fourth axis ($2000NZD) and the hardware investment for
the fifth axis ($1700NZD and counting), not looking to spend any more money at the moment, and may not ever again!! ;D
