Title: Override limit switches for duration of job?
Post by: Elemental_Garage on July 21, 2022, 04:42:59 PM
Hey all,

Just got my CNC mill set up. The first job is the mill down the spoil plate. It seems like many others are somehow disabling the limit switch so that they can get just enough movement to get to the end of the board. I am unsure of how they're doing this. I am aware of override limit and autooveride for getting off the limit switches, but not sure if there is a way to prevent them from stopping a job.

If it's not somehow doable then I guess I'll need to get a larger facemill so it doesn't have to travel as far past the Y end to actually trip the limit.

Thanks for any/all help!

go to config/ ports and pins and select input signals and disable all your inputs for your switches, run your job and then re enable them when done.
