Title: Mach3 reads the home switches but it doesn't stop
Post by: dimitar.panayotov on July 24, 2021, 02:24:45 PM
Hi all, So I just assembled a new machine with a motion board WIXHC MK4-V (XYZA). So far all axes are moving. But when it comes to homing the machine is not capable to stop. It goes true the limits and it hits the motors boundaries. It recognizes that the switch was activated I can see in the Diagnostics window the led indicator. I'm also having a plug-in for the motion board installed.
What could be the reason of not stopping? The E-stop right now on the board is just connected to 0V as I'm not having still a physical emergency button. Ah yes, I have just home home switches, not limit switches.

I'm not familiar with your HW, but why do you assign all four pins, 0,1,2 and 5 to DIFFERENT ports ? Naively, I would expect to route these signals trough one or maybe two two different ports but certainly not five.
