I run a program, put in another part to machine. Zero is off by as much as .125.

I run a program, put in another part to machine. Zero is off by as much as .125.
Before you work with other program/setup and was everything ok? Are you sure that is not mechanical problem? Is not long time i use Mach4 but problem like this haven't seen.

Hi Greekart, Thank you for your reply. When I operate it manually, it works fine. When I type in a G code or enter a G code using a cad cam program is when zero messes up.

Hi randy, do you have an example of the gcode that mess it up to post?

cheack tool offset,bater add G40 on top
also cheack if you have G54-59 on top ,and if so if the parameters are corect

has tool offset been canceled in the Gcode

Let's do a test.
Home your machine, mark a spot on one end of your table.
Zero in this location.
Let's use your long axis.
Then command a rapid move from one end to the furthest point you can on your table without crashing.
G00 Y(Value here, assuming you're using your Y axis)
Then command G00 Y0 and go back.
Are you at the same location?
This will tell us if you're missing steps.
