Title: Problem with manual Feed Override in Mach3 and Pokeys57CNC
Post by: MTN on February 17, 2021, 02:43:49 PM
Hello,
sry for my worst englisch.

The Problem:
I'd installed a new POKEYS57CNC as my new CNC-controller, connected by an Ethernet-cable.
Mainly it works fine, but there is one issue, which greys my hair:
All axis react directly by keyboard-commands. But if i run a program, the reaction of a commanded override has a delay of 10-11 lines. I tested it: I pushed the "Pause"-Button at this time, the next part will by milled, and the hardware paused 10 or 11 lines later, so the machine runs 10-11 lines until it stopps.
The same by overriding the feeds. By running a program, the feed were actualized may 4-7 seconds after setting the new feed. That means, the machine runs by 100%, I call a feed of 10% and it runs 10-11 lines (4-7sec.) until it drive with the new feed.

Do ya have any idea, what the problem is?

Best regards

Maik
