My cnc mill works under win xp. I am using mach3 the latest version. I want to run a program on my mill several times in succession. The problem is that I have to set the zero setting every time again.
When the program is done the spindle goes to the zero position, but then it changes the coordinates of X, Y and Z. What is the problem here.
-
are only the displayed values on Screen not Zero, or is the machine physicaly not at Zero?
-
The machine is physically at zero except for the Z axis. When I pause and stop the program the coordinates don't change.
-
Thanks for the reply.
I mean pause and stop on the way back to zero after ending the program
-
have you selected in Config -> General Config -> Persistent Offsets and Persistent DROs ?
-
Hey
Thank you already for the answer. Yes the Persistent Offsets and Persistent DROs are selected. Things have been getting worse lately. I could pause the program and then manually go to zero, this no longer works because the machine coordinates are now also changing. It makes me desperate

i would not run Ver .066
try a earlier Version

Is the ESS plugin for using an ethernet connection?
My controller for the milling machine only works with parallel port. I have a 6040Z-S80 cnc milling machine.

this: https://warp9td.com/files/Software/Mach3/Mach3Version3.043_2018.exe
will also work with parallel post. make a backup of your existing Mach3 Folder.

I am running v.R3.043.066
-
.066 is known to be faulty
-
I have installed v3.043_2018 but here I get the same problem but a little less.
Sometimes the coordinates remain correct.

is it possible that you post a small Video?
