Title: Help on WARP9 SMOOTH STEPPER
Post by: yospitya on November 19, 2020, 03:04:04 PM
Hello,
I have to add a lot of entries for limit switches. Mach 3, warp9 ss, windows xp, LAPTOP. I used the Warp9 pinout addresses (port 3, pins 1-3, etc.) on the ports and pins, but when running the limit switch, I do not get any signals in the diagnostic page. Does Mach 3 recognize port 3 or do I need to test something somewhere on mach 3? What is the difference between single-ended and differential inputs? I really need this information.
I would be glad if you help.

Port 3 Pins 2 through 9 can be configured as Inputs or Outputs. Check your settings in the ESS General Config. to make sure they are set to IN.
