Title: Problem with % SRO Mach3
Post by: pablomp on October 29, 2020, 08:04:37 AM
Hello good day, I wanted to make a question about my WMD45 milling machine converted to CNC.
It has CSMIO IP / M controller board with closed loop nema 34 motors and I use mach3.
I am doing the installation of a variable frequency drive to be able to control the speed of the spindle motor (4 poles, 380V, 1500 rpm, 1.5 hp).
I already did the installation according to the diagram provided by CSLABS, until then I had no problems. The problem I have is that when varying the% SRO in Mach3, the revolutions goes from 1% to 94% (when reaching 94 the rpm is 1500), from 95 to 100% there are no changes.
This makes for example take the RPM to 50% instead of going to 750rpm it goes 790. It is as if the last 5% did not count.
Something similar happened to someone or know how to configure it?

i assume you are using a analog Output for Speed control.

you can go to Plugin Control -> CSMIO and then to Analog IO

here you can watch the voltage of your Analog Output and check the value.

Hello, yes, I use an analog output.
I Check the Analog IO in the plugin
Analog output voltage does not reach full when SRO is 94%, but the motor goes to 100%

then the Problem is on your frequency converter.
