Title: EZ Router with Air Drill
Post by: fractals on September 24, 2007, 02:57:43 PM
We have just purchased an EZ Router with an Air Drill piggy backed on the z-Axis. When the Air is turned on the drill comes down and starts spinning. Any ideas how that could be turned on and off with G code. In Mach 3 I can hit a button that says "Air on" and "Air off", but obviously I need to turn it on and off with a program.

You could make your self a macro to do it then add the macro to your button. When you need it to perform the action in Your Gcode, just call the macro. M2010 for example.

You could have your M3 turn it on, and set up your output relay in your config and yoru ports and pins
the M5 can then turn it off...........

I actually found out from EZ Router that the Air Drill can be turned on with M12 and off with M13. Thanks all for the help.
