I did a retrofit on a mill around 2011..
Hood was a lot of help.
I'm wanting to upgrade to a newer version.
I think mine is a 2010 ??????? Version..
I haven't messed with it since 2014.
Maybe 2 or 3 times a year.
Do I need to back up anything?
Maybe take pictures of my settings\ tuning incase something happens?
Any info appreciated.

Make a secure backup of your Mach3 folder.
Help / About will tell you which version of Mach3 you are running.
Don't update / upgrade anything just for the sake of updating but Mach3 version .066 has known issues so get the latest stable version from the Artsoft website https://www.machsupport.com/downloads-updates/main-programs/
The new version can be installed over the top of your existing installation and all settings, etc. should be preserved.
Tweakie.
( Hood is not around as much these days but I am sure he could be persuaded if you get into real trouble :) ).

Thanks Tweakie!!
I remember talking to you about a few things when I was building it.
The version I have won't do a power tap\ instant reverse.
I was told by many people to update, but never did.
Thanks again!👍👍
