Title: trying to tune my motors

Hi all-

My plasma table has not worked in years, so I decided it was time for a rebuild.

I ordered a HiCON integra from Vital systems, and switched from Mach 3 to Mach 4

I have to table moving in all directions, but it is choppy at best for the y and Z.

Can someone explain how to tune the motors in both Mach 4 and the Hicon configuration page?

they are 850 IN oz  motors with a 5 to 1 gear box

Thanks, I did not know that.    I have to wait for warmer weather so I can open the shop doors and get my internet connection.
