I'm having some problems after re-installing the latest Mach2r6.11n software.
Currently, Jog only moves at 27ipm no matter of override (shift held down) or any slow jog percentage value.
This corresponds to a motor max speed of 1.5in/sec (as set in motor tuning).
Jog speed does goes up/down as max motor speed tune parameter increases/decreases.
Any clues?
This is after installing and then un-installing Mach3
I just want to return to my last good working state.

What were your problems with Mach3??? and post your Mach2 XML and I will have a quick look at the settings.
You should also know that you can have both Mach2 and Mach3 on the same computer :)
thanks

Configuring Mach3 was more than I wanted to deal with at the moment. Too busy.
The main problem was that it wasn't obvious which setting would allow me to override and jog off the limit switch after homing (problem only in one axis?). It didn't appear to work the same as in Mach2. But I didn't give it much time. (That, and I became frustrated with the mousy numbers and the wizard).
Anyway I did have both installed at the same time. But as strangness started happening with Mach 2 I un-installed both and re-installed Mach 2 hoping to return to my original state. No luck.
xml attached.
Thanks, Ted

Hello Ted,
After looking at your XML I think you need to set your Y axis to a higher velocity then 27 IPM... I can see that you have the X set to about 67 IPM and the Y and Z are down to about 27... You need to select the Axis that you are going to select on the dialog and after you enter that data please save the axis settings and then you can set the next axis.
thanks

Brian,
Hm...
The number "27" does appear to exist in the xml file or anywhere else except in the "feed rate" field when jogging.
In the "motor Tuning"dialog x and y are set to 1.5 IPS max. This corresponds to 90IPM. but the motors turn at All axis move at 27IPM. :-\
The jog speed does not change whether or not I have the shift key held down or change the % jog value.
The only time jog speed changes is if the I change the "motor tuning value"
Where do you get 67IPM from?
Nothing is making sense.

Have a look at the settings... You have the Y and Z axis settings set to about 27 IPM and the X is about 67
