Title: .tap code cant be found
Post by: cerjakt on January 15, 2020, 04:45:23 PM
Hello,

Not sure if there is any activity on here anymore.

I have an issue trying to load my files on Mach 3. All of the codes are brought in from V care 9.0. After selecting "load G code" The various folder selections open for the flash drive I am using. When clicking into the folder, or any folders, no .tap files can be found to load. I can go back into the file when not loading it, and open the code in notebook. Not quite sure what is going on.

Any help would be awesome

Thanks

Hi,
most likely the files have the wrong extension, they may be being generated and saved as .nc or .txt files. There is a setting,
can't quite remember where, in Mach3 that allows Mach to 'see' files with extensions like .nc and .txt.

After you click Open Gcode File, in the lower box Files of Type, select All Files(*.*) or whatever file extension you require.
