Please help,
After a long break away from my Router machine I decided on a rebuild.
I'm now using Mach4 with an ESS Smooth stepper
All 3 axis motors are running fine and I can Jog in all directions (until I configure my Limit Switches)
I have used 5 Limit Switches.
One for the Z Axis top of Travel. Z-
One for X Home and X - (Shared)
One for X +
One for Y Home and Y- (Shared_
One for Y+
I keep getting messages like 'Cant Jog towards limit switches etc'
Can anyone help me getting the correct boxes ticked in Mach4 setup and ESS Setup. I'm getting my knickers in a right twist. Need help.
Thanks
George

I'm not sure if I have assigned the switches to the correct position on my Router Any help here would be appreciated.

Your Y axis looks reversed to me but with a router it all relates to the position that the operator stands in relation to the machine. This video explains the Right Hand Rule https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKwlzIJG5lo
Tweakie.

Not sure if I have the image correct but the z looks wrong Z- should be below the home and as tweakie stated the Y axis looks reversed :)

Thanks Gents, I have reversed my Y Axis as suggested Y+ Is now assigned as Y+ (& Y Home) Opposite end is Y- (& Y Limit)
X + is also X Home and X- is X Limit
and have also designated Z top of travel to Z+ (& Home)
I'm still unsure if my Limit and home switches are correctly positioned.
I'm getting confused with the table in the ESS Setup. (Attached)
