Title: setting up a limit switch help!
Post by: Signal79 on October 16, 2019, 05:38:34 PM
Trying to set up a limit switch on the Z axis of my plasma table (floating head/material touch off) I have a Warp9 ESS connected to a Gecko G540. I'm not quite sure whats going on. I have the X and Y homing switches wired up in series going to pin 10 on the G540 which registers fine on the 'diagnostics' tab in Mach3. Wired up the Z limit switch to pin 11, entered it in the 'inputs' table on Mach3, but I can't get it to register on the 'diagnostics' tab. Tried all three input pins (11,12 and 13), only 10 seems to be registering. I tested all the wiring and the microswitch, all is good with those. What am I doing wrong?

Are you putting a voltage through the switches or are you connecting to ground?
