Title: mach3 with 5 axis machining problem
Post by: fitz on September 01, 2019, 03:41:38 AM
my mach3 ver. is 3.043.066 OP. is windows XP
and I got FRO% problem

Like the photo which i attached.
The letter B I have to turn down the FRO% to 30% then I got the right result and the higher FRO% the B is more twist on the end of straight line.

how could I solve this problem?
Is changing to ver. 3.043.062 helped?

It looks like it could be a Constant Velocity problem.
Try operating in Exact Stop mode (add G61 to the start of your Gcode) - does the problem go away ?

thank you Tweakie
Yes, Use G61 Exact stop check do solve my problem.
But G61 also make the machine work one not so smoothly.
I think I have to try to find the more solutions.

You will ned to experiment to find the best settings but the solution is to reduce the Velocity setting and increase the Acceleration setting in Motor Tuning for each of the X and Y axes saving the changes.

thanks a lot
I am trying.
May be the Acceleration and Velocity of C axis and X axis and Y axis is too much different.

thanks again
