Title: Cabinet Door Wizard...any interest?
Post by: 1BigPig on April 02, 2006, 10:08:19 PM
Michael Richards and I wrote a _FREE_ cabinet door program for the ShopBot router and I am wondering if there is any interest in a version for Mach2/3 as a wizard.  If not a Mach wizard, maybe just a stand alone G-code version.

You can view the current "getting started" tutorial and download the latest ShopBot version at

Do realize that this program is aimed at a full size router (4ft x 8ft).  You could get by with a little smaller machine, but the original idea was to turn full sheets of MDF into Kitchen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vance_Miller) cabinet doors.

If you think that it would be a useful tool, let me know.

Bruce,

I think this is a great idea. My Kitchen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vance_Miller) Cupboards are Tasmanian Oak, but I'm sure SWMBO would love Cabinets in the Laundry with profiled door on them.

Go for it.
