Title: homing offset issue on mach4 and pokey57cnc

Hi,
please i have problem in Mach4,
I'm using Mach4 hobby 4.2.0.162 and pokeys57CNC Mach4 plugin 8.57.0.3813
when I configure home offset  in mach4 control configuration no effective and no offset happened after homing !!
in Mach4 plugin configuration there is back-off option it's working but the moving distance are same for all axis's
any body can support?

Hi,
firstly this post should be on the Mach4 General Discussion Board.

Mach4 like Mach3 which preceeded it does not back off. If you set a 'home offset' when that axis homes instead of the
machine coordinates of that axis being set to zero they are set to the value you have nominated as 'home offset'

In addition to that feature of Mach some motion controllers including the 57CNC and ESS allow you to set  a 'Back off Distance'
as well. Thus the setting you are looking for if offered by the controller and will be found it the PoKeys plugin.

There is a difference between Home Offset and Back-Off.
