Title: transposing when routing

I am new. I have mach 3 with Ethernet smooth stepper and ever thing appears to be right. Down loading trail version of vcarve pro and trying to run the demo sign. It looks good on mach 3 screen but as the router runs it routes the lettering backwards, example is: (Avalon) but routes it like this: nolavA. Its does a very nice job but just backwards. Maybe a setting. I have researched and found very little on it. Has anyone had this issue?

Hi,
I think you have the one axis directions back to front.

Have you followed the right hand rule when assigning axis directions? All CAD/CAM will asume
that axis orientation.

I did watch the video and I think understand what he was saying, but where are the changes made in Mach 3? I don't think I have come across that portion in mach 3 so I don't think I change that.

Hi,
to reverse the direction of one axis, the X axis say......you can reverse the direction of the motor by swapping the
polarity of one winding of the motor OR you can do it in software.

Config/Ports and Pins/Motor Outputs.....reverse the direction signal.
