I believe I have set up my profile correctly, but my breakout board will not enable outputs and the green LED output status light will not light. Also, none of my inputs are showing up in Mach4, when I hit Estop nothing happens. I'm attaching my current profile. Help, please!

yours problem seems not sent to the right place
you need ask yours breakout board supplier

How do you know it's not Mach4 failing to enable the c11g. Or I thought someone might have had the same problem as me and would be nice enough to help me out. Not someone just shutting me down and saying I'm in the wrong place. I keep hearing good things about this Forum, but I keep getting burned.

Hi,
I use an ESS and have no problem.
From what you have described Mach is not communicating with the ESS/breakout board combination.
In the first instance we should try to establish whether Mach can communicate with the ESS.
Do you have the ESS plugin enabled and set as the active motion controller in Mach's control plugin?. Note that if you need to change either of these
settings you will have to shut down and restart Mach for the changes to be 'cemented' in.

If you are using an ESS the pc's ethernet settings need to be set to the correct address also.
Select TCP/IP Version 4 then click the Properties button.
Select Use the following IP address.
IP address 10.9.9.1
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0

Hi jpm42166,
how did you get on? Its nice to get a response from people you try to help, whether it was successful or not and
whether you came up with a solution that might help others in turn.

I am having a similar issue. ESS is communicating but C11G BOB shows input lights but no output lights, therefore, I can not jog or move axis. I do not own a hobby license yet but am getting one in about 2 weeks. Could this be preventing the outputs? Thanks Rick :}

If you do not have a license, you are running in DEMO mode. This will function fully for about 5 minutes each time you launch it. Otherwise it runs just like a licensed system.
