Title: mach3 problem steppers wont move
Post by: marek2312 on March 07, 2019, 03:24:10 PM
I have a problem with a machine purchased from eBay
The machine has a built-in driver such as in the picture (jp-3163).

I have a connection with the LPT port because after pressing the emergency button I see the message estop.

The problem is that immediately after turning on mach3, stepper motors stop having a holding moment.

After rebooting before turning on mach3, everything returns to normal.
Have you ever had a similar problem?

Perfectly normal.
You need to click on [RESET] in Mach3 to start working.
First let us know what happens when you click on [RESET] in Mach3.
By the way do you have limit/home switches wired up (yet)?
Is jumper 3 actually in the  2-3 position and NOT in the 1-2 position as in your uploaded picture?
If jumper 3 is in 2-3 position, you will need to enable pin 1 in Mach3.
