I have the demo version (R3.043.062) of MACH 3 installed on my Windows 10 HP Notebook. Also have the UC100 (real one), hooked through A C83 Opto Isolator board then to my Xylotex 3 axis control board. When I start it, a message (Plugin DLL Defective. Reload) after that message, this one appears (UC100 V2_151.DLL-Defective Plugin found ..ignoring). Do I need to change any thing in MACH 3 configuration to use the UC100? Any assistance will be appreciated.

Delete all the UC100 plugins from the Mach3\plugins folder, and download and install the latest version from the CNC Drive website.

Thanks Gerry.

Gerry, I have the UC100 Plug in in my Mach3 Plug in folder now. Mach3 recognizes the UC100. I don't know what to configure to get it working with my 3 axis board. The green and blue LEDs on the UC100 are lit up. I have from the UC10 a cnc4pc C83 Opto Isolator board (5Input/12 Output) with separate 5VDCPower Supply on the Power terminals of the input side and 5VDC and Ground from my 3 axis board on the Output side Power terminals. Can not make my G code files make my mill steppers run. Do I need to do some configuring in Mach3?

Do you have a ribbon cable from the C83 to the Xylotex?
Did you enable the axis and configure the ports and pins?
-
Yes I bought a IDC26 Pin to IDC26 Pin ribbon cable to go from the C83 to my 3 axis board. Tonight I was trying to run Cut a Circle g code from Mach3 G code Folder and every time the Z axis went down on the Mach3 display my Z axis stepper clicked. I changed that stepper velocity/acceleration then I didn't even get a click any more. I am not sure if I should do any input/output pin settings in Configuration or not. I enabled X, Y, Z and A in Configuration. That shows Step and Dir pin numbers. 2 and 6 outputs are X, 3 and 7 outputs are Y, 4 and 8 are Z and 5 & 9 are A. I added a Single Axis board for my A axis (rotary). Just not sure what to do. Before I got this Windows 10 Computer and the UC100 I had an older computer with DB25 parallel port and used DB25 cable to the Axis board and all worked well. That is why I think I am missing something in setting UC100/Mach3 configuration....or something.

I believe that your pin numbers are wrong.

Gerry, I exchanged the IDC26/DB25 cable for the IDC26/IDC26 ribbon cable to go from the C83 Isolator board IDC26 straight to my Xylotex board IDC26 connection where the IDC26/DB25 ribbon cable was. Mach3 setup says if I use the UC100, to unclick Parallel Port. Should I still use the pinouts you showed?
-
Yes, you still need to assign the correct pins, and port #1.
-
Do I need to assign pins in Output/Input configuration or just in Motor configuration?
-
You need to assign pin numbers for any pins you'll be using.
-
I really appreciate your help Gerry. I will see how it goes. Thanks

Gerry, I assigned pins and port 1, for X,Y,Z in Motor Configuration and enabled them. I assume to get the steppers to move X,Y table and Z that I must also assign pins and possibly ports in either Mach3 Input or Output. Do not know what to do after X,Y,Z in Motor Configuration. Please assist me.

Is anyone using the UC100 with Mach3?
