Title: WinCNC and Mach3 compatability

Hello everyone,I purchased a PracticalCNC machine with WinCNC and was wandering if Mach3 is compatable with it.Also,any information on any other programs that might be helpfull would be appreciated.Thanks in advance for any and al help.

I'm not sure but I think that they aren't compatible just because mach3 doesn't support PCI I/O cards and works with the parallel port ...

WinCNC is doing the same job as Mach3 ... The old Ford Chevy thing...

I guess I am a little slow on the uptake here.  Are we saying, winCNC and MAch 3 are not compatable like you would not pug a Chevy starter on a Ford Engine. . . or are we saying picking one is a matter of preference and either with work.  I would really like to help a friend relplace his wincnc system

Do you have a pin out for there cables or any other info? If you do I can take a quick look at it...
