Title: Mach3 Digitizer
Post by: KentLN on December 09, 2018, 02:30:35 PM
Hi Everyone
I have a mold i would like to make a digital file of to reproduce the mold.
I would like to make a pointcloud like i understand the digitizing wizard should. ( I cant get it to work)
I would really like to set a vector boundry for the probing, is there a plugin/addon That can do That?
I have search on Google all day and every link goes to the built in digitizing wizard or external software for probing 2d/edgefinding etc.

Every solution is very welcome!!!!

My machine is a homebuilt CNC router with Mach3 and ESS + working probe for automatic tool measuring.

First time since building my router that i cant google my way to the answer.

Really Hope someone out there can help me.

Thanks for your time :)

Hi i cant the built in wizard to work i cant change the x,y probing area its always zero. When i change it it will return with zero. I have tried returning to standart mach3 screen and still the same.
All the other settings i can change

i have tryed the "Standard" witch came with Mach3 Digit wizard

you have to type in a value and press enter, that's it

When i type a number and hit enter the number returns to zero the very moment i hit enter... really frustrating.
But i would also like to contain the probing to a vector or shape that i can draw.
If its not possible i am sure i can work around the square probing area.
Is there a newer/different digitizer?
