my icon for turning is coming up for the mill,what did I do wrong?

Hi, Todd

Right click on the Icon then select Property's.

Target should be, " C:\Mach3\Mach3.exe /p Mach3Turn ", If your using Std. Install Location.

Hi, Todd

As I posted, If your clicking on Turn Icon and your getting Mill, Change the Target in Lathe Icon Properties to below

C:\Mach3\Mach3.exe /p Mach3Turn

Also, it might be coming up with the 1024 mill set instead of the 1024L set for the lathe. You need to check the settings if you use both profiles to make sure your not changing the wrong one. If it is the lath profile and the mill screen, just go to view, load screen and browse to the 1024Lset.

driving me crazy so had to go fishing for a few days.

When I right click it gives me c:\Mach3\Mach3exe/p mach3turn
If I go to the find target button, to goes to the mach 3 folder and goes to the mill icon in the machs folder.
Went back to the down load page and re-loaded mach3 release 1.84.002 &Mach3 Version r2.4.exe
After both of the down loads it went right to the mill screen.
So don't know what I'm doing wrong but the proberties look right but they take me to mill.

Also where in the settings do I find 1024 mill or 1024L.  The lathe profile is not under the mill screen,lathe can not be found any where.

Ok Todd,
   Is your lath profile missing all together or just the shortcut Icon takes you to mill? Look in your root Mach 3 folder C:/mach3 for two folders.  Mach3turn.xml and 1024l.set

Lathe profile missing,no mach3turn.xml or 1024l.set,but there is a 1024.set
Starting tp think my best bet will be to delete all files and start over,unless you have a better ideal?
