Title: Question on Z axis

Hi, I'm mewbie, Just new to the mach3 software, my problem is when in the middle of a program and want to go back to zero the Z axis drags across the work piece. My question is? Is there a way of putting the Z axis into a safe mode or homing first before X & Y axis move.

Hi,
yes, there is a feature that will probably solve your problem called 'Safe Z'

Look under Config/Safe Z Setup.
