Title: Novice Question...

I want to produce a product that has seventeen 1-1/4 in. percision placed chamfered holes in an 8-1/2 by 14 in. by 1/4 in. thich sheet of Lexan/polycarbonate.

Can this be done with CNC router?

Oh yeah, that would be easy if you don't want insane tolerance. Even that can be done on the right machine.

On the size pieces you are talking about, I have seen routers that would run them with in .005" of an inch. There are some that will hold tighter I'm told, but I've never seen one personally.
