Title: Mach 3 Modbus TCP with Siemens Logo!8
Post by: Manfred on June 28, 2018, 01:45:38 PM
Hello,
forgive my bad English
I want to connect Mach3 with a Siemens Logo!8 (which ModbusTCP should be able). I want to switch the spindle-frequency-inverter on and off (relay) (http://)via Modbus TCP and set the speed via an analog output 0-10VDC. I'm honest, I don't know exactly what to put where. Tried everything but didn't get it to run. Has anybody got that combination to go?

Hi,
that pic is of the PLC program....you haven't got that far yet.

You need to program Mach to talk over TC/IP Modbus BEFORE you start worrying about programming the PLC.

excuse
I activated Modbus TCP in Mach3 and tried to set.
I haven't figured out what I've got wrong yet.

Hello Manfred,

you will also have to do some Brain in Mach to write to the modbus.
