Hi List
I am running a Legacy CNC router with Mach3 on Win7. My issue is that when I run the program to perform a touch off on the pad the Z axis drops down to touch off, lift off a few millimetres and starts down slowly again to touch off the pad. The activation light comes on and the tol stops. However, nothing else happens - it won't finish the cycle. Any ideas why? I have tried replacing the Macros folder from a good backup to no avail. I am stumped and in dire need of this machine. Please help!
Regards

If it worked in the past, try replacing the .xml file with a good backup copy.

Thanks for replying
Tried the .xml from several backups and same thing with all.

Did it work before?
Did you change anything, or update Mach3 or a plugin?
-
Yes it worked until recently. I got a guy at Legacy to fix a problem with the driver using TeamViewer. Everything seemed OK until I tried a touch off. The backup I have all worked as well. It seems like its a configure issue within Mach - but then I know very little about it.

Can someone tell me if the file that controls the touch off sequence is in the Macro folder, plug=ins or where? If this file does not exist what controls the touch off and where can it be found?
-
The macro is most likely embedded in the screen button, but it could also be a macro.
Are you using the default screen, or a Legacy custom screen?

Legacy custom screen

Then you probably need to talk to legacy, as the touch off macro is most likely something written by them.

Ok Gerry. Thanks for your help.
