I have a -10V to +10V signal from a device which I would like to control a AC Tech VFD with https://www.clrwtr.com/Products/ESV751N04TXC (https://www.clrwtr.com/Products/ESV751N04TXC).
I want at -10V the motor to reverse & at +10V the motor to go forward. At 0V the motor should stop.
Can this be done?

Looking at page 35 P159 mentions +-10v, but P158 above says it is not currently supported. No wiring diagrams show it either so I believe you are out of luck.

Hi Luke,
just as a matter of interest why do you want it to go backwards? Do you have LH cutting tools or LH drills?

Tapping?

Hi,
yes tapping, but VFD driven spindles have such poor torque at low speed that it doubtful it will work
unless its a really big spindle. Additionally you'll need some sort of encoder to synchronise with the
other axes, and position control with asynchronous spindles is fraught at best.

YES it can be done PROVIDED your BOB (Break out Board) has two relays.
One relay controlled by M3 say output 1 (pin ##) is connected to connector 13A of the Inverter.
2nd relay controlled by M4 say output 2 (pin ##) is connected to connector 13B of the Inverter.
Digital Ground connected to 1 & 4 as in attached diagram.
On the inverter
Set P112 to 1
Set P121 to 13
Set P122 to 14
ANI connection REMAINS same.
