Title: Stepper will not move

New to this forum so bear with me please. Using the trial version of Mach 3 I am unable to activate my Nema 23 stepper motor. My setup may be the problem.

I want to run Mach 3 from my laptop via USB. My set up is as follows:

1. USB from laptop to interface board ( Mach3 Interface Board CNC 5 axis with Optocoupler Adapter Stepper Motor.)
2. Interface board to TB6560 controller/ driver board via DB25.
3. Power from 24V, 15A power supply to TB6560 board.
4. Nema 23 stepper connected to my “X” axis connector.

All led’s are on. I think that means everything is working?
Loaded sample G-Code into Mach3 and hit “ Cycle Start” and nothing happens.
I have setup Mach 3 per tutorial.
Suggestions welcome.

So I am trying to follow what your saying.  The USB connection to your laptop replaces the parallel port. But this USB controller still has to be installed so Mach3 sees it and uses instead of the PP. Your instructions with this USB controller should cover all this setup.  Now unless this USB controller has stepper drivers on the board you need some way to send  the step signals to your motor. Usually just 4 wires, but it could be just 3 per axis.
If this USB controller does not have drivers to run the steppers, now you need those. Usually mounted one per axis, but this other board you have connected may have 3 or 4 motor drivers. We do not know because of lack of info. But from your USB Controller for each axis you only need signal wires maybe 3 usually 4, but you have a 25 pin  Serial plug DB25?

Pictures and diagrams would help a lot.
