Title: Question about Modal commands within Macro

I was wondering if someone could tell me if a modal command within a macro is persistent after the macro is executed and then returns back to the program? If you execute G code within the macro such as a G53 or incremental, will it return to absolute G54 after the macro has run.

G53 is never modal.

And if you change modes in a macro, they remain in effect when the macro ends.
