Title: G16 Polar moves in X-Z plane or limited to x-y plane only?
Post by: damo green on December 18, 2017, 08:20:17 PM
Are G16 polar moves limited to the x-y plane?

If they are limited to the x-y plane then I will use FORMULAS instead

Thanks in advance.

Read the manual.
Mach3Mill_1.84.pdf
Page 10-19
Section 10.7.7
"It is possible for G0 and G1 moves in the X/Y plane only to specify coordinates as a radius
and angle relative to a temporary center point."

Good luck with formulas. I found some limitations ...

Cheers
