Title: Can't Get Spindle To Turn On
Post by: mraman21 on November 30, 2017, 01:58:31 PM
Hi, I'm Max and I am new to the Mach community. I see a lot of topics posted here about people not being able to get the spindle to work. I have read through about a million things about ports & pins and have tried thousands of different variations of port & pin configuration. I purchased my machine off of eBay; 6040z 4-Axis CNC engraver with a Yoocnc M3-USB-JB4 (V04) motion control card equipped. The Machine came with a version of Mach3 on a disc and later found out that is was pirated. So I went and purchased a clean version of the software hoping that would magically solve my spindle issue, but unfortunately I am still stuck in the same mud pit. Anyway, I'm hoping that someone can help me out here so I can start making chips.  :'(

Attached is a copy of my XML file.

Thanks in advanced

Perhaps sharing some information on motor type and driver would help others figure out how to help you.  For example, does it use a VFD to drive the spindle ?

Yes. Nowforever VFD. I'm currently at work so if you're looking for my current VFD settings then I can share them later when I get home.
