Title: A Lagging axis
Post by: lahryth on July 01, 2007, 09:23:47 PM
I have a stepper mill with Mach 3, and I have noticed that when moving the z axis up at near top speed, the control seems to start the next move with an x or y motion before the z movement is finished. Does this mean I have my accell decel to slow, or feedrate too high, can I set a permanent dwell between blocks so they finish before the next one starts?

I'm seeing this as well. I will try to find out something for you if no one answers soon.

Yup, that seems to help with that.

I also meant to say, if you have an G64s in your code (CV) replace them with G61 (ES).
