Title: Work offsets not being saved
Post by: p38nut on June 28, 2007, 10:11:59 AM
My work offsets are not being saved even though MACH3  version .080 says they are being saved.  Am I not holding my mouth right or is there a secret to this?  Thanks.  Mike

Did you try changing the settings under the general configs?

Thanks
Brian

I tried all the suggestions, nothing worked.  I looked through the files, particullarly mach3mill.xml but could not file the entries that should be modified.  What file(s) are modified for tools and work offsets?  Thanks.  Mike

Fixture.dat is the file that the offsets are saved in...

Also please get the latest version and see if that will fix your problem

Thanks

Problem was that box was checked was "copy g54 from g59.253 on startup".  Unchecked that and things were fine.  Thanks to all.  Mike

P38nut, This is just another suggestion ! Don't get in the habbit of using g54 in your programs, reason being is that I leave g54 in machine dim or zero'd out and insure that g59.253 is also zero'd and then when i start machine or need to touch off an odd tool, I can turn on g54 for that purpose then back to the WPO i'm using ! Make sense ?
